HOW TO SAFELY USE THE KIT DURING A POWER OUTAGE?
STEP1
Turn on the DELTA Pro, then turn on the AC switch. (If using the Double Voltage Hub, you need to turn on both DELTA Pro power switches fifirst, then turn on the Double Voltage Hub.)
STEP2
Turn on the necessary circuit breakers on the breaker panel, turn the switch from LINE to GEN side). Make sure you do not exceed the maximum operating power of DELTA Pro. NOTE:The Transfer Switch installation must be performed by a qualifified electrician under the guidance of the installation.
What is a transfer switch?
The manual transfer switch that allows you to safely connect a portable generator to your home's electrical system during a power outage.
Can I install the transfer switch myself?
Installation of the transfer switch should be done by a licensed electrician or a qualified professional.
Is the transfer switch suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, It is also designed for outdoor use and has a NEMA 3R enclosure that provides protection against weather and other environmental hazards.
Can I run a 240V device on the 120V US version?
You'll need to connect two DELTA Pro units to power 240V electronics. You can do this by: 1) the Double Voltage Hub and use the AC outlets on the hub, or 2) the Smart Home Panel and use your home's 240V outlets.
